We had the pleasure of working with Matt, Samantha and Lauren. We started thinking that we’d lease our home for a few years and Lauren was instrumental in educating us and helping us make choices on long term lease vs vacation rental, how much was an appropriate rental rate and when to put it in the market.
Since we were considering purchasing our next house in Truckee, Matt took the time get to know us, and understand our wishes. He provided very specific and local knowledge of the various areas in Truckee that would meet our needs. Matt clearly knows the area!
As it turned out, our financial planners advised us to sell and not lease, so we switched gears to selling the house. We were part timers, so Matt and Samantha hired and managed all the necessary contractors to spruce up the house for selling. Matt went beyond the call of duty by doing a few dump and hazardous waste runs, and even helped us by meeting with a local person who agreed to take some of our spare furniture. It was very reassuring to know that Matt and his team were taking care of everything while we were 200 miles away.
The most amazing thing is that we had an offer in three days and escrow closed in 14 days! Matt and Samantha were on top of everything to ensure an on time and smooth transaction. The house was priced just right and the team found just the right buyer for the house. It was great working with Tahoe Truckee Homes! We went from considering leasing, to buying, to selling all within a span of two months and the team was very patient and supportive of us as we changed our strategies.
